I know CC is not what they do. However, I was inspired by this picture:
And I thought I had to make some kind of rules for doing that. In a standard 40K game it seems a bit silly, so I thought why not make a datasheet?
Dynamic Entry: Crossfire Crisis Suits not to be confused with my Titan from earlier, also called "Crossfire"
Certain Crisis teams, for larger scale engagements, are trained in deep insurgency methods designed to quickly and easily neutralise enemy threats, utilising the arguably the most powerful weapon there is: Surprise.
1 Shas'el with Two Shas'vre Bodyguard
1+ Crisis Battlesuit teams
This formation always Deep Strikes. When it does, it may land on an enemy unit - it scatters as normal, but so long as at least one of the models is within the enemy unit roll a D6. On a roll of 1-3, remove half the models in the unit. On a 4 or 5, remove 3/4 of the models in the unit, rounding down. On a 6, remove all the models in the unit. The Crisis team may still make the 6" Assault phase move but may not fire their weapons if they enter the battlefield in this manner.
These were just some really quick rules I came up with inspired by the picture. Probably not balanced, maybe you think it implies being good at CC (I don't think it does though - just shocking the klkn out of the enemy and pouring firepower on the way down and on landing), but I thought it was a cool idea
