The armoured behemoth heaved heavily upon it's large tracks as it slid along the ground. Smoke billowed from the rusty and ancient generators. The twin mouthed beasts spat death at those nearby whilst the hull mounted heavy bolters chattered their deathly tones in amongst the harsh battlefield tones.
Blood lust was raising at a steady pace within the armoured compartment of the Land Raider. "Pergatus, we near the Imperial lines now!" boomed the tank's driver as he guided the armoured giant towards the fortified trenches of the Guardsmen. Pergatus made his final pre-battle checks with a casual though, his armour was ready.

Whilst his squad continued the massacre, Pergatus' second in command Falktor moved around to face Pergatus face to face. "Pergatus, why are you frowning?" enquired Falktor, his voice hiding his rage too well. "These Imperials are not worthy of your attention, they lack the will to fight us in combat!" boomed Pergatus. Falktor noticed that Pergatus' lightning claw now was raised, clasping the shattered remains of a dead Guardsmen. "Their flesh is too weak" Pergatus' eyes remained fixed upon Falktor as Falktor watched the limp body slip Pergatus' grasp as they power fields around the claws slipped through the flesh of the human...
