She is meant to be one of the massive creatures on the table, one of the big bad guys on the table. (along side a warhound on each team and a few other odds and ends) So she has to have a decent profile to reflect her big boss status - something that peters out too soon isn't good enough. But something that is too powerful to plough through the game single handedly.
Now, these are the stats I came up with myself, feel free to argue.
Unit Name: Brathai Sol'Parten Destra (Keeper of secrets)
Unit Type: Beast, Monstrous creature, independant character, daemon.
Wargear: Lash of silence, shield of Sorrows, personal Icon, aura of aquitence.
Abilities: Siren, lash of submission, fuelled by pain.
Lash of Silence: Said to have been handed to her by the very hand of Slaanesh, this horrific weapon was designed in salughtering masses of soldiers to combine their screams into an orchestra of pleasure, or to to see the mightiest of warriors beg for mercy. Any 6's to hit will also ignore invulnerable saves after rolling to wound. May also be used as a ranged attack with the following profile - Range: 12" Strength: 4 Ap: D6. Small blast template. Any model underneath the hole in the centre of the blast has the Ap reduced to half of the D6 rolled.
Shield of sorrows: Reforged from the breast plate of an ancient blood thirster, the runes in the shield reduce the movements of the opponents of it's weilder. Brathai uses it to mitgate the attacks of lesser warriors as their puny attacks barely register as causing any pain to her. Anyone attacking Brathai has a characteristic chosen by the player controlling her reduced by one for the remainder of the combat (ie - until Brathai is slain or the opponent runs away). If a second round of combat is fought the same characteristic may be chosen again, or a second may be chosen. The same characteristic must be chosen for all combatants in the fight.
Siren:Like all keepers, Brathai has the ability to worm her way into lesser beings minds and erode their sensibilities. She, however, takes it further and dominates their memories, replacing images of loved ones with that of her, making soldiers think that they are about to fire at family or comrades. However, there remains a base ability to know that something is wrong. Every time a unit fires at Brathai she can take a leadership test. If passed, that unit's Ballistic skill is reduced to 1 for the rest of the turn. This ability may be used as many times as she wishes.
Fuelled by Pain: When rolling armour saves, any 6's restore a wound from a previous fight in the game. Her wounds may take her above her starting amount. Also, to represent her natural ability to null all but the most serious of wounds Barathai has (rahter perversly...) feel no pain.
